Keeping the classic Kentia Palm as a lush indoor plant is still as popular today as it was for the Victorians. With its large pinnate leaves it will transform any room into an indoor jungle.

Watering

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. Mist daily.

Light requirements

Bright, indirect.

Feed

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April - October.

Repotting

Repot every two-three years to give the roots more space to grow and to replenish the soil. Use a well draining house plant compost with 20-30% added draining medium like perlite, grit or hydroleca.
