Agave potatorum

A small variety of Agave forming a neat rosette of grey-blue leaves native to the deserts of Mexico.  These fleshy leaves are lined with menacing, dark brown spikes. This hardy succulent can take temperatures of as low as -10°C, but it needs protection from wet wintery conditions.

Watering

Water when soil is dry 100%. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Feed

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March - November.

Repotting

Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
