This natural succulent bonsai tree from Madagascar is delicate and graceful with a smooth bottle shaped trunk and tiny leaves it is sometimes referred to as a miniature baobab. It is a very slow growing and deciduous. 

Watering

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering - depending on temp and light exposure.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Feed

Use a cactus and succulent fertiliser once a month from April - October.

Repotting

Repot every 3-4 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite or pumice.
