Myrtillocactus geometrizans cv. fukurokuryuzinboku

This nursery produced cultivar is highly sought after by succulent collectors, largely due to its dusky blue epidermis and distinctive arrangement of tubercles along the stem. Young specimens are often upright, but mature plants can wind and bend, growing up to 4m.

Watering

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering - depending on temperature and light exposure.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Feed

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March - November.

Repotting

If it does ever become too small for the pot it is in, repot into one size up and use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.

Pot size / height

See available sizes below. Please note that, due to their natural variability, specimens' height may be within 10-20% of the stated height below.

Plant is supplied in its plastic nursery pot as standard.
