Life Drawing: The Plant Edition with Francesca Van Haverbeke & Frances Fay Davies

Join multidisciplinary artist Francesca Van Haverbeke and botanical horticulturist Frances Fay Davies for an evening of creative plant drawing. Much like a traditional life drawing class, Francesca will set up a still life but for this ‘plant edition’ she has dispensed with nude humans and has instead chosen to draw our gaze onto the amazing plant specimens we have here at Conservatory Archives.

Each plant will be introduced with fun facts and stories as you are guided through various techniques and materials to capture the plantscape in front of you. This workshop is a botanical feast for your creative taste buds, all are welcome (you don’t need a special flair for art or horticulture).

This workshop will be held at our Middleton Mews location and all attendees will receive drinks, nibbles and a 10% discount on everything in-store.
