The Lauraceae or laurels are a family of flowering plant. Most of the Lauraceae grow as evergreen trees with oval waxy leaves. The Lauraceae are the major constituents of the laurel forests and the cloud forests, these environments are found in temperate and tropical areas with high humidity and stable temperatures.
