Euphorbia tithymaloides (Pedilanthus tithymaloides) f. variegata

This succulent spurge can grow up to four metres tall, while branching out profusely from its woody stem with laurel-like, green leaves gently zig-zagging up. During mid or late spring Euphorbia tithymaloides may produce a myriad of bright, red-pink cyathia (flowers).

Watering

Water thoroughly when soil is dry 100% during spring/summer months. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.

Light requirements

Full sun.

Repotting

This species can live in the same pot for several years. When the roots become too large for its pot, repot into a slightly larger pot. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage medium such as perlite, pumice or grit.

Feed

Use a cactus feed from March - November every other time you water.
