Cleistocactus morawetzianus f. cristata

The standard Cleistocactus morawetzianus is a species of columnar cactus endemic to Peru, often producing shrubby, tree-like growth. Bright green stems are lined with gold-yellow spines, and across this crested form the spines form clumps of soft hairs along its contorted columns. What sets it apart is its rather rigid growth, and less distinct waves which are evident on other crested cacti.
