Brighamia insignis

In Hawaii these delightful little palms are known as ‘Alula’ and they once covered the whole island. Sadly they are now extinct in the wild, but the cultivation of this species has been so successful this cabbagy monocot lives on as a much loved house plant.

Water when soil is dry 100%. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.
